Our local live music venue the Star Backroom - Gui $Our local live music venue the Star Backroom - Guildford was under threat from a developer, ironically, called Neil Young who managed to get a noise abatement order through to stop the live music at the Star Inn. With overwhelming support from the general public, and dogged determination of the Star Crew to keep fighting the Noice abatement order, after months of fighting the power...eventually, the decision was overturned and this legendary rock venue... has now been SAVED!! This iconic & most ironic cover was performed by our band during the uncertain times, at a time when we thought we might be playing our last show in our home venue! Thankfully,our Temple was saved and the Star is still Rocking in the Free World! \m/⠀ ⠀ Other venue are not as lucky & we can't stress how important it is that you get out and support local live music venues in 2020.
